Overview

The Lake Mansfield Improvement Task Force (LMITF) was formed to develop and implement a comprehensive Lake Mansfield Improvement Plan. Specifically, the LMITF will address a wide range of concerns, including, but not limited to, public safety, use, and accessibility, water quality (runoff, buffer zone erosion, invasive weeds), lake improvements, protection of the watershed, and stewardship. LMITF will obtain community input and use the resources available from the State Department of Environmental Protection, State Representatives, the Nature Conservancy, Trustees of the Reservation, Lakes and Ponds Association of Western Massachusetts, Berkshire Natural Resources Council, and other applicable agencies.
