This page provides the official schedule and key deadlines for local elections and the Annual Town Meeting as administered by the Town Clerk’s Office — including petition periods, voter registration deadlines, and the dates for Town Meeting and Town Election.

• Important candidate and petition deadlines, including when nomination papers become available and when citizen petitions may be filed.

• Voter deadlines such as the last day to register to vote and the last day to request a mail-in ballot.

• Dates for Town Meeting — scheduled for Saturday, May 2, 2026 (with a continuation date of Monday, May 4 if needed) — and the Town Election on Tuesday, May 12, 2026 with polls open from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
